Weed are well developed and causes eutrophication in Lake.The M.Phil Environmental Science Students are doing work on Laksmi tal but due to lack of scientific resources a great problem is arising in research thus no one is coming front for restoration of lake . But due to the bad environmental factors the migrant birds are also not comming to this places thus causing biodiversity loss of lake...

    The Jhansi Hotel has a distinguished history in this city as it was very much the abode of British 'burra-sahibs' in its day.It still retains a faded grandeur and there are remnants of the once beautiful garden.Additionally,trophies of long dead animals still adorn the verandah.A drink at the bar makes one wonder what life was like for those who could afford these comforts during the 'Raj' years.
